Stainless Steel is a tough material, is resistant to corrosion and can be subjected to more abuse before showing wear. Stainless Steel is the preferred option over other materials due to its ability to resist corrosion. Stainless Steel is highly durable, non-reactive, and resistant to rust and why it is used in meat, fish and food production, marine, other similar harsh environments and industrial applications.

The two most common grades of stainless steel STX Technology uses are 304 and 316. The main difference in the 2 grades is the level of corrosion resistance. 304 stainless steel is food grade and is the standard. 304 stainless offers high corrosion resistance, is very cost effective and comes in 2B flat, brushed or highly polished. 316 Stainless is marine grade and is used when a higher level of protection is required to withstand salt, corrosive chemicals and industrial solvents.
